The Association of Law Teachers’ early career symposium is one of the highlights of our annual calendar. This one-day symposium brings together early career law teachers (broadly defined) to explore emerging pedagogies, new challenges in legal education and planning an academic career and features sessions on themes including:
- Innovative pedagogies and practices
- Success, failure and navigating the challenges of higher education
- Higher education and the law school landscape
- Planning an academic career and development
- Supporting one another and building a collaborative network.

The 2025 Symposium will incorporate networking and reflective opportunities, as well as sessions designed to prepare for the coming academic year.
