The Association of Law Teachers is looking to co-opt one or more early career members to our executive committee/professional development sub-committee to strengthen our work supporting early career legal educators.
The co-opted member(s) would work alongside other members of the executive committee on projects such as our early career symposium, other events and resources to support early career colleagues.
Our definition of early career is consciously broad. It includes postgraduate research students, colleagues who have transitioned into or between different roles/research/responsibilities and takes account of career breaks, sabbaticals, etc.
To apply, please submit a CV and expression of interest (max 500 words) to ALT Secretary Jane Bradley Smith (jane.bradley-smith@barbri.com)
For an informal discussion of the role with a previous early career lead, please contact Cameron Giles (Cameron.Giles@UEA.ac.uk).
The deadline for applications is 5pm (UK) October 2nd 2026.
