Chair’s Message

Dear Members,

We are all adjusting slowly to the different and difficult circumstances in which we find ourselves and at the moment I know that building community is more important than ever.

I have always found the ALT to be a source of support, encouragement and collaboration and it continues to be so at the moment.  I hope that we can be a source of support for you.

The Executive committee has arranged to meet virtually – to inspect each other’s sitting rooms and to decide on some actions we can take to help each other.

Stirling has confirmed to me that now that the conference has been cancelled they will be organising refunds and will contact delegates about this.

Our new website is live and we will continue to develop it once life has settled into more of a routine.  I am sure that you are all as busy as I am reorganising assessment and developing online teaching.

Most importantly, stay indoors, safe, and take care of your loved ones and yourself.
